Existing somewhere between a sound source for artists and a musical object for listeners, Yours Not Mine is a TAPE-ONLY release limited to 30 unique copies. It consists of a generative sound landscape spread across four simultaneous stems (one per tape track). Each cassette was recorded individually (and signed) by BlankFor.ms, featuring a unique realization of the music recorded on high-quality RTM tape.
It works at any speed, in forward or reverse, and while itâs best experienced on a four-track tape machine it is also beautiful as two sides on a standard cassette player. Use it for sampling, use it for listening, or reshape it with pedals and other instruments. All audio on the tape is copyright and royalty free.
